Xiaomi 17 Ultra: The company revealed on social media on Monday that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will go on sale in China this week. This phone, which is positioned as the newest high-end model in the company’s flagship Xiaomi 17 series, will replace the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Also, the company has unveiled its design and announced its arrival with pictures on the Xiaomi China website. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a number of design features with its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, including a sizable circular camera module in the middle of the rear panel.

Launch Date of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be offered at the Xiaomi x Leica Imaging Strategic Cooperation Upgrade event on December 25, 2025, at 7 PM (4:30 PM IST), says to a Weibo post. The company’s teaser image indicates advances in the telephoto optical system and a major advance in low-light photography; however, many details are yet unknown.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Colors

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be offered in black and white, per to the teaser image. Its design is somewhat similar to that of the 15 Ultra, with an island-like look due to the huge camera hardware on the rear. For Xiaomi, the 8.29mm thick Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be the company’s slimmest model to date.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Camera

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s photography skills are shown in the first pictures taken with it.  In terms of camera technology, the sensor has an f/1.67 aperture, and the shutter speed is 1/50s. It has been confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will launch with a triple back camera setup, including a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with the Leica logo and a 50-megapixel camera with a 1-inch OmniVision OV50X sensor.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s full details will be disclosed at the company’s launch event, but from what is currently known, it appears to be a promising phone.
