Vivo X500 Pro Max Leak Reveals 200MP Camera, 7000mAh Battery and Dimensity 9600 Pro Chip

Vivo is reportedly preparing major flagship upgrades with the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro Max. The smartphone will feature a 200MP periscope camera together with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and a 7000mAh battery according to recent leaks.

The smartphone has reportedly appeared in the GSMA IMEI database ahead of launch which indicates that Vivo will soon extend its flagship X-series collection to international markets. The company plans to skip the “X400” branding according to reports and proceed directly to the X500 series.

Vivo X500 Pro Max Could Bring Major Camera Upgrades

The Vivo X500 Pro Max will showcase its camera system as one of its most impressive features. The smartphone will have the following camera system:

50MP Sony LYTIA-838 primary sensor
50MP ultra-wide camera
200MP periscope telephoto camera
Possible multispectral sensor for improved color accuracy

The device will maintain its existing collaboration with Zeiss to enhance its image processing and photography capabilities.

Vivo plans to implement LOFIC sensor technology according to leaks which claims this technology will enhance dynamic range while preserving details in bright lighting situations.

The Vivo X500 Pro Max will have a display that measures almost 7 inches and shows 2K resolution through its OLED technology which makes it the largest display that Vivo has created for its flagship products.

Reports indicate that Vivo plans to use its advanced high-resolution display package to create a distinct visual difference between the Pro Max model and the basic and Pro versions of its smartphone line. The display could target users who prefer sharper visuals for streaming, gaming, and content consumption.

Dimensity 9600 Pro Chipset and 7000mAh Battery

The upcoming flagship device will use MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9600 Pro processor as its main processing unit. The chipset will use TSMC’s 2nm-class process technology and will implement a new CPU design that combines two cores with three cores and three cores to enhance system performance.

The processor will establish itself as a direct competitor to Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon flagship processers.
