In China, the Redmi Turbo 5 series has been introduced. The Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max are two of these series’ smartphones that have been released. There are four color options for the Redmi Turbo 5 Max and three for the Redmi Turbo 5. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and a 9000mAh battery are two of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max’s primary characteristics. Up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage are available for this phone.
Redmi Turbo 5 Series Price
With 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone’s base model costs CNY 2,299 (about ₹30,000) in China. Two further variants, priced at CNY 2,599 (about ₹34,000), have also been launched by the company: 12GB+512GB and 16GB+256GB. The top model, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is priced at CNY 2,899 (roughly ₹38,000). This phone is available in Auspicious Cloud White, Shadow Black, and Shallow Sea Blue color options.

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max’s base model prices CNY 2,499 (about ₹33,000) and has 12GB+256GB. The other version prices CNY 2,799 (around ₹37,000) and has 16GB+256GB.
The third version of this phone prices CNY 2999 (about ₹40,000) and has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The top model prices CNY 3,299 (about ₹44,000) and has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Auspicious Cloud White, Sea Breeze Blue, Shadow Black, and Sun Orange are the hues in which the phone launched.
Features of the Redmi Turbo 5 Series
The Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max run Xiaomi’s most recent HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16, and support two SIM cards. The Redmi Turbo 5 has a 6.59-inch (1268×2756 pixel) AMOLED screen with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, a maximum touch sampling rate of 480 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 3500 nits. The display on this phone is compatible with Wet Hand Touch 2.0. The Turbo 5 Max has a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 1280×2772 pixels. This display’s features are comparable to those of the conventional Turbo.
An octa-core 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor powers the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The clock speed of this processor is 3.73GHz. The Turbo 5, on the other hand, comes with a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, clocked at 3.4GHz. Both phones come with 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM. The ratings for both phones are IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K.
The Redmi Turbo 5 series has two rear cameras for photography. An 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide camera is included in both phones. In terms of the main camera sensor, the Turbo 5 Max has a 50-megapixel (f/1.5) Light Hunter 600 lens, while the Turbo 5 uses a 50-megapixel (f/1.5) Sony IMX882 main shooter. Both phones also have a 20-megapixel (f/2.2) front-facing camera.
Whereas the Turbo 5 has a 7,560mAh battery, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphone has a 9,000mAh battery. 27W reverse wired charging and 100W wired fast charging are supported by both Redmi phones. Both phones have Bluetooth 5.4, a USB Type-C port, 5G, and 4G LTE. While the Turbo 5 supports Wi-Fi 6, the Turbo 5 Max supports Wi-Fi 7.
