Why is Aadhaar Needed for Children?
Getting an Aadhaar card for children, known as a child base, is required to reach various government schemes and services. While the Supreme Court has ruled that Aadhaar is not mandatory for school entry, many institutions and welfare programs still need it for verification purposes. For example, benefits such as mid-day meals, health services and scholarships often require base authentication. Having an Aadhaar card ensures that children can basically benefit from these services without any problem.
