ChatGPT Down: Ghibli’s image has gone viral across the world. Be it big leaders, celebrities, or common people, everyone is obsessed with it. ChatGPT went down on Sunday after millions of users flocked to the AI platform to create Studio Ghibli images.

Due to the global outage, apps and API services have been affected. DownDetector, a website that tracks outages, reported that at least 294 users complained about problems with OpenAI’s service. OpenAI officially acknowledged the problem, writing, “We are currently experiencing issues.”

Commenting on the issue

CEO Sam Altman said, “My team needs sleep. If you also want to create shadow Ghibli images on social media, OpenAI has released an advanced image generator through an update on ChatGPT-4o. It allows users to convert any image of their choice to a Studio Ghibli style image.

This includes people from celebrities to politicians, who are sharing Ghibli images on social media. The GPT-4o model helps in creating great and photorealistic visuals, which is known for creating Ghibli-style images.

Sam Altman Statement Come out

Amid the popularity of the feature, CEO Sam Altman revealed how ChatGPT’s GPUs are “melting” due to the huge demand. He said that OpenAI will limit the number of images that can be generated, but now users will be able to create a maximum of three photos for free.

Noting the craze for creating Ghibli-style images, Altman said the response to the AI chatbot feature has been “insane” and is not bringing any comfort to his teams.

Sam Altman responded about handling heavy loads, saying that he had never seen such a strong reaction before. “We haven’t been able to catch up with the speed since launch, so people are still working to get the service up and running,” he said. I’ve never seen that before.

Since the release of this feature

Users have been sharing their AI-generated Ghibli-style images on platforms like X, Instagram, and TikTok, due to which hashtags like #Ghiblified or #GhibliArt are constantly trending, due to which common people, politicians, celebrities, and brands are also using this tool on social media.
