EPFO has notified the EPF Scheme 2026, which replaces the old 1952 scheme. This change has been introduced under the Social Security Code 2020. Rules regarding PF contributions (12%), interest rates (8.25%), UAN, withdrawals, and nominations remain unchanged. The new scheme places greater emphasis on digital services and governance.
