Noida Fire: A massive fire broke out in a factory in Sector 4 of Noida early Thursday morning (March 12), causing widespread panic. The fire quickly escalated, leaving locals in a state of panic. Fire engines arrived at the scene to extinguish the blaze.

During the fire, several people were trapped inside the factory, who were rescued safely by firefighters. Fire brigade teams are currently working to extinguish the fire. The lives of 250 people were narrowly saved from the massive fire. Fire brigade personnel rescued the workers trapped in the flames. However, many suffered minor burns, and some fainted from the smoke. Thirty-seven people have been hospitalised.

As soon as information about the fire was received early Thursday morning, a fire brigade team arrived at the scene. A rescue operation was launched to rescue the workers trapped in the factory. After everyone was evacuated, firefighting operations began.

According to the police and fire departments, a fire broke out at 4 a.m. at an electric meter manufacturing factory in Sector 4, which falls under the Phase 1 police station’s jurisdiction. The fire department rescued approximately 250 workers trapped in the blaze. Thirty-seven injured people were taken to the district hospital for treatment.

A police officer who arrived at the scene reported that approximately 50 people working on the night shift were trapped inside the factory due to the fire. Firefighters, who arrived at the scene, began the rescue operation, breaking window panes and using hydraulics to free the workers.

Upon receiving the information, the workers’ family members also rushed to the factory and the hospital. Initial investigations revealed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit on the factory’s third floor. Fire department officials are investigating the factory’s fire NOC.
