Registration deadline is November 9th
According to the schedule released by the MCC, the last date for registration for the stray vacancy round is November 9th, 2025.
- The choice-filling process will begin on November 5th and continue until November 9th, while choice locking will be completed on November 9th.
- The seat allocation process, based on candidates’ preferences, will then be conducted from November 10th to 11th, 2025.
- Seat allocation results will be released on November 12th
- After the completion of the seat allocation process for the stray vacancy round, the results will be released on November 12th, 2025.
- Candidates who are allotted colleges will be required to report to their respective colleges and complete document verification between November 13th and 20th, 2025.
No new admissions will be accepted after this period.
MCC has requested students to report with all required documents, such as admit card, NEET scorecard, 10th-12th marksheet, photo ID, and category certificate.
Who can apply for the stray vacancy round?
This round is for candidates who were not allotted a seat in the previous rounds (Round 1, 2, and Mop-Up Round) or could not report for some reason. Also, those who took admission in the first round but later surrendered their seat can also apply.
However, students who have already been admitted to a college and completed reporting cannot participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.
Application Process for the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round
- Step 1: Candidates visit the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in.
- Step 2: Click on the “NEET UG Counselling 2025 Stray Vacancy Round Registration” link on the homepage.
- Step 3: Register by entering your roll number, date of birth, and other details on the new page.
- Step 4: After registration, fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
- Step 5: Pay the application fee online.
- Step 6: Click the Submit button and download and save the confirmation page.
