JNVST Class 6 Admission 2026 : For the child, what best suits her need for education without any fees towards schooling gives at least boarding, books, and food. Eligibility
Applications to be received for class 6 in JNV: The criteria for eligibility adduced are pretty simple for any student to be among the few who would be considered for admission:
Age: The child should be born between 01 May 2013 and 31 July 2015.
Schooling: Must have completed Class 5 in the year 2025-26 in a government / government-added school or recognized school.
Reserved Under: Must be a student belonging to the district from which he/she is applying for the school. Residential certificate in support need be produced.
Rural Quota: For a child to be eligible, 75% of the total seats are reserved for children belonging to the rural area. For this, the student must study in rural area schools in Classes 3, 4, and 5.
Important Dates To Be Observed Admission tests would be conducted in two phases.
Phase 1: 13 December 2025, commencing at 11:30 AM common to most states like UP, Bihar, MP, Maharashtra, Odisha etc.
Phase 2: 11 April 2026 slated at 11.30 A.M. for hilly terrains namely Jammu, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh etc.
The last date for application is 29 July 2025.

2. Click on “Class VI Registration 2026.”
3. Fill your personal and school details.
4. Upload the required documents, like a photo, signature, and residence proof.
5. Submit the application and keep a printout for future reference.
Exam Pattern
This test will be conducted offline (pen-paper) for an aggregate of 100 marks against 80 questions. It will further classified as below:
Mental Ability: 40 questions (50 marks)-60 minutes
Arithmetic: 20 questions (25 marks)-30 minutes
Language: 20 questions (25 marks)-30 minutes
