Jharkhand PCS 2026: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released a notification for the Combined Civil Services Preliminary Direct Recruitment Competitive Examination 2026. JPSC PCS Notification 2026: Important Dates
According to the JPSC annual calendar released by the commission, the tentative date for the PCS preliminary examination is March 8, 2026. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will have the opportunity to appear for the main examination, to be held on May 2, 3, and 4. The interview is scheduled for June 16, 17, 18, and 19.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying must be graduates from a recognised institution. Physical Fitness Male candidates from the General, Backward, and Extremely Backward Classes must have a minimum height of 165 cm. For male candidates from Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes, the minimum height is 162 cm. Female candidates from the General, Backward, and Extremely Backward Classes must have a minimum height of 155 cm, while female candidates from the Scheduled Tribes and the Scheduled Castes must have a minimum height of 152 cm.
Selection Process
The Jharkhand PCS recruitment process comprises three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. Candidates who pass the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination, and those who pass both the Preliminary and Main Examinations will proceed to the Interview.
