JEE Main Result 2026: Major news is emerging for the lakhs of students preparing for engineering entrance examinations. The results for the JEE Main Session 2 examination are set to be released very soon. Preparations are underway to publish these results next week. According to the official notification, the results are expected to be released by April 20, 2026. For candidates who appeared in JEE Main 2026, the better performance between Session 1 and Session 2 will be considered for the final score.

Marking Scheme

Currently, there have been no changes to the marking scheme for the JEE Main examination. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while incorrect answers will incur negative marking. No marks will be awarded for questions not attempted by students. Following the release of the results, students who have passed the examination can begin preparing for JEE Advanced 2026, the entrance exam for admission to the IITs. The registration process for this will also commence shortly.
