JEE Main 2026 Session 2: The exams for Session 2 of JEE Main 2026—the country’s largest engineering entrance examination—are set to commence tomorrow,i.e.,April 2,2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already released the admit cards for the examination. Candidates who have not yet downloaded their hall tickets for the exam can obtain them via the official website,jeemain.nta.nic.in
The admit cards are available in PDF format and can be downloaded using their login credentials. Candidates are advised to download their hall tickets without delay,as entry into the examination centre will not be permitted without a valid admit card.
According to the official notification,candidates must ensure that the downloaded admit card contains both a QR code and a barcode. All candidates are required to carry the same photo ID they uploaded in their online application form and that is also displayed on their admit card as proof of identity. The examination (for Paper 1),scheduled for April 2 and April 4,2026,will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM,and the second shift will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
When will the exam be held?
The JEE Main Session 2 examination will be conducted between April 2 and April 9,2026. This examination consists of two papers: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning). It is worth noting that JEE Main is a national-level entrance examination that facilitates admission into the country’s prestigious institutions,such as NITs,IIITs,and CFTIs.
What information will the admit card contain?
The admit card serves as more than just an entry pass; it contains crucial details such as your name,roll number,examination centre address,date and time of the exam,photograph,and signature. Upon downloading the admit card,candidates are advised to thoroughly verify all the information provided therein.
How to Download the JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card?
Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
Click on the admit card link located in the ‘LATEST NEWS’ section on the website’s homepage.
Enter your application number,password,and the provided security code.
Then,click the ‘Submit’ button.
The admit card will then appear on your screen.
You can download it and take a printout.
