If you want to study in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), due to which you have missed registering in the July 2025 session, then do not worry because IGNOU has once again given a big opportunity to the students, due to which the last date for registration in the July 2025 session has been extended by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Candidates who have not yet applied for undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate or diploma courses can now register online by visiting the official website of IGNOU ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Every year, lakhs of students want to study, so they apply through the same registration process. Now, under the official notification, candidates can register for the last time till September 15, 2025. Let us tell you, earlier, the last date for registration was fixed as August 31, 2025.

IGNOU Admission 2025: Application

To study in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), now interested candidates can apply till 15 September 2025. For which you can register by visiting IGNOU’s official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, or the online courses portal ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

So those interested candidates who want to apply have to create a DEB ID. Without a DEB ID, you cannot apply. Keep in mind that the registration fee for candidates of all categories has been fixed at Rs 2000, which will be non-refundable. If a student cancels admission after admission confirmation, then their fee will be deducted.

  • First of all, you have to visit the official website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
  • After this, click on your favourite course link on the homepage of the website.
  • Now click on the new registration link and enter the personal information.
  • Pay the prescribed examination fee by entering the required information.
  • Before submitting the form, read the information you filled in the form carefully.
  • Now, in the end, take a printout of it as well.
