However, by evening, gold rates were once again seen trending upward.
According to the latest prices on ibjarates.com, the rate for 999-purity (24-carat) gold was ₹139,513 per 10 grams in the afternoon, reflecting a decline. However, following a rise in rates by the evening, the price has now reached ₹140,420 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, the rate for 916-purity (22-carat) gold was recorded at ₹127,794 per 10 grams in the morning; it has since risen to ₹128,625 per 10 grams. An increase has also been recorded in the price of 999-purity silver; it stood at ₹220,353 in the morning but has now risen to ₹224,545. So, let’s take a look at today’s gold and silver rates.

According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 995-purity gold is currently holding steady at ₹139,858 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the price of 916-purity gold is being recorded at ₹128,625 per 10 grams. The price of 750-purity gold stands at ₹105,315 per 10 grams, while the price of 585-purity gold is ₹82,146 per 10 grams.
