Bihar Board 12th Sociology Model Paper 2026:- There is very little time left for the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Matriculation and Intermediate examinations to begin. Students have limited time remaining to prepare for the exams. Those who want to score well are working hard. Regardless of the board exam, every student wants to score high marks in all subjects. However, good marks are not achieved simply by completing the syllabus; effective study strategies and time management are also essential.

When will the exams begin?

Sociology can play a crucial role in improving students’ overall performance. The Bihar Board exam for this subject will be conducted on February 12th in the first shift, between 9:30 am and 12:45 pm. The 12th-grade board exams will run from February 2, 2026, to February 13th. The practical exam will be conducted between January 10th and 20th.

Exam Pattern and Time Limit

The Bihar Board 12th Sociology exam will carry a total of 100 marks. Students will have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete this paper. The Sociology paper will be divided into two separate sections. Section A will consist of 100 objective questions, of which students must answer 50, each worth 1 mark. Section B will consist of 30 short-answer questions, of which 15 questions will be answered, each carrying two marks. Additionally, there will be 8 long-answer questions, of which students must answer 4.

In this context, Bihar Board students are advised to study daily in accordance with the syllabus and to solve model papers and previous years’ question papers.
