Delhi Patna Bullet Train: Are you also eagerly waiting for Delhi Patna Bullet Train service? Then this article is made for you. Trains from Delhi to Patna are usually very crowded, but plans are progressing to introduce a high-speed bullet train on this route, making the journey faster and more convenient. Following the successful Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor, the Delhi-Patna corridor is next in line for a proposed high-speed rail connection, according to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

Upon completion, the 1,170-kilometer trip from Delhi to Patna will be reduced to just 4.5 hours, a significant improvement from the current 12-hour journey. The official start date for the Delhi-Patna bullet train has not been announced yet, as the project is still in the initial planning and survey stages. This initiative will commence after the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project is completed.

The high-speed bullet train will depart from Delhi and pass through Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Varanasi before reaching Patna. Travel times between major cities on this route will be notably reduced, enhancing connectivity and making travel more efficient. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train is expected to begin operations with the Surat to Bilimora section by August 15, 2027, with full service on the 508 km route anticipated by the end of 2029.

The launch date for the Delhi-Patna bullet train will be determined once the survey, route finalization, and land acquisition processes are complete. The official schedule will be released by the Railway Department after all necessary paperwork and technical requirements are fulfilled.

Traveling from Delhi to Agra in less than an hour could become a reality if the proposed corridor comes to fruition.
