Delhi Metro Update – 45 Stations Closed Today Amid CJP Protest, Check Full List

Delhi Metro Stations Closed: The DMRC has implemented significant changes in response to the CJP protests and the need to maintain law and order and security in the capital. The DMRC shared a post on the social media platform X stating that 45 metro stations in Delhi would remain closed from 9:00 PM on October 9 to 6:00 PM on October 10. However, interchange facilities will remain operational at most of these stations during this period.

The DMRC took this step in light of the ‘Cockroach Party Zindabad’ protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Initially, an order was issued to close 57 stations, but the figure was later revised to 45. Therefore, if you are planning to travel via the metro, you should first check which 45 stations are closed and review the new guidelines for passengers.
