When was the exam held?
The CSIR UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted by the NTA on July 17 and 18, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam was held for five different subjects: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences. It was conducted in 224 cities across the country.

Number of candidates who appeared
