Assistance for Critically Injured Patients
In Madhya Pradesh, transporting critically injured individuals to a hospital in a timely manner can often be challenging. To address these issues, the state government introduced an air ambulance service. The goal is to ensure timely treatment for patients who would otherwise take too long to reach a hospital via a standard ambulance. This state-government-provided service is entirely free of charge. Depending on the need, patients can be transported to cities like Indore or Jabalpur, or even to major hospitals in cities such as Delhi or Mumbai.
Free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh
To alleviate the financial burden of expensive medical care, the government runs the ‘Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana’. The core objective of this scheme is to provide free medical treatment coverage of up to ₹5 lakh to families from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. During the event, CM Mohan Yadav announced that if an injured person possesses an Ayushman Card, they will be eligible for free medical treatment of up to ₹5 lakh. You can avail this benefit exclusively at empaneled (listed) hospitals.
