Train Cancelled: Big news for everyone. Work on the Phulera–Ringas–Rewari section of the North Western Railway’s Jaipur Division is progressing quickly with development and doubling efforts. This work is taking place between Ateli, Mirzapur, Bachhod, and Narnaul stations. The doubling is set to enhance future rail operations. However, rail services in this area are currently facing temporary disruptions due to non-interlocking work, which has been causing some inconvenience for passengers for a while now.
To ensure passenger safety during the non-interlocking phase, the railway administration has opted to cancel several trains and reroute some others. Shashi Kiran, the Chief Public Relations Officer of the North Western Railway, mentioned that this decision was made strictly for technical and safety reasons, aiming to prevent any accidents or interruptions during the ongoing work.
Among the trains that have been cancelled is Train No. 19621 Phulera–Rewari Express, which will not operate for a total of 29 trips from January 18 to February 15. Similarly, Train No. 19618 Rewari–Madar Express will also be suspended for 29 trips during this timeframe. The cancellation of these two regular services is expected to affect daily commuters significantly.
Additionally, the Railways has temporarily cancelled train number 09637 Rewari-Ringas Special and train number 09638 Ringas-Rewari Special. Both of these trains will not run for a total of seven trips each, starting from January 18th. The cancellation of these special services may lead to further inconvenience for local and daily commuters.
Trains that will be operating on the diverted route include train number 19604 Godda–Daurai, which is scheduled to leave from Godda on January 20 and 27, as well as February 3 and 10. Instead of its usual route of Rewari–Ringas–Phulera, this train will now travel via Rewari–Alwar–Jaipur–Phulera, making stops at Alwar, Bandikui, Gandhinagar–Jaipur, and Jaipur stations.
Similarly, train number 14087 Delhi–Jaisalmer will operate a total of 29 trips via a diverted route from January 18 to February 15, while train number 22452 Chandigarh–Bandra Terminus will operate a diverted route for nine trips. The railway administration has appealed to passengers to ensure they receive information about their train status before traveling to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
