Farmers usually need a large budget to build a boundary (fencing) around their fields. However, many farmers cannot afford it due to financial difficulties. As a result, they struggle to protect their crops from stray animals and other threats. To help farmers, the Rajasthan government has launched the Tarbandi Yojana. The main goal of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to farmers so they can secure their crops. Through this article, we will share all the important details about this unique government scheme.

The Rajasthan government has allocated Rs 50 crore for the Tarbandi Yojana in its 2025-26 budget. Rajasthan’s Deputy CM and Finance Minister, Diya Kumari, announced that Rs 50 crore would be provided under the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Yojana. This amount will help 75,000 farmers with grants to build fences around their fields, covering a total of 30,000 kilometers. The initiative aims to safeguard crops from stray animals and other threats.

  1. Prevent Crop Damage: Protect crops from Nilgai and other stray animals.
