Silver with March 5th expiry closed at ₹2,63,018 per kg on MCX. Today, silver prices fell to ₹2,60,938 per kg. Silver prices fell by more than ₹2,000. Gold with April 2nd expiry closed at ₹1,58,755 per 10 grams in the previous session and reached ₹1,58,040 after the market opened. Gold and silver prices on MCX fluctuate throughout the day.

How much did the silver rate drop?
The price of silver declined on Thursday. The price of silver with an expiry date of March 5th on the Multi-Commodity Exchange closed at ₹2,63,018 per kilogram on the previous trading day and reached ₹2,60,453 per kilogram today, i.e. Thursday. The price of 1 kg of silver decreased by ₹2,565.
On January 29th, the price of silver crossed the ₹4 lakh mark, reaching a high of ₹4,20,048 per kg. Compared to Thursday’s opening price, 1 kg of silver is currently available for up to ₹1,59,595 less.
