Merger of banks
It is important for the customers to know that Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank and Baroda Rajasthan Regional Rural Bank have merged. Now it has become a new and strong integrated bank, named Integrated Rajasthan Gramin Bank. This bank is now the only regional rural bank in the entire state, which is serving the people through about 1600 branches and 26 regional offices.

These services will be temporarily closed
After the merger of the bank, technical migration and software integration work are going on to modernize the system. To bring this work to the final stage, the bank has decided to temporarily close some of its services. The information about the closure of these services is as follows:
- The facility of check clearing and collection will not be available from August 22 to August 26, 2025.
- Apart from this, all digital banking services like ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, UPI, AEPS, and BC Channel will be affected from August 23 to August 26.
- During this time, customers will be able to get help related to general inquiries only at the branch level, but financial transactions will not be possible.
What precautions should customers take
The bank administration has appealed to the customers to settle all their important transactions, like cash withdrawal, deposit, fund transfer, and UPI-related payments, before August 22, so that they do not face any inconvenience.
The bank has also advised that if the date of any of your installment, auto-debit, or recurring payment falls between this period, then make alternative arrangements with the concerned institution or biller in advance. The bank has also clarified that all services will resume normally from August 27, 2025.

These big benefits will be available in the long term
This technical upgrade is definitely a temporary inconvenience, but after this, the customers are going to get many unmatched benefits. The new core banking system will make transactions even faster, increase stability, and provide more services that will be available on a single platform.
Also, there will be a big improvement in security standards, making digital transactions even more secure and ensuring better protection against fraud. The bank has also assured the customers that all information related to their deposits, loans, and accounts is completely safe. This upgrade aims to give customers an even faster, safer, and convenient digital banking experience.
