Train Cancelled: Big update for passengers. Every day, millions of people in the country take the train. Some use it for work, others for school, and many to see their families. So, when there’s a disruption in train services on a particular route, it can throw a wrench in travelers’ plans. If you’re heading to Jaipur, this info is super important for you.
There’s a lot of work happening right now on the Phulera, Ringas, and Rewari sections of the North Western Railway’s Jaipur Division. This ongoing project between Ateli, Mirzapur, Bachhod, and Narnaul stations is set to enhance train speed and convenience in the future. However, because of non-interlocking, several trains have been cancelled, some have been rerouted, and others have been short-terminated. So, make sure to check your train status before you head out.
As for the cancelled trains, Passenger safety is the Railways’ top priority. That’s why there have been some major changes to train operations on this route. Non-interlocking work is currently in progress, which is a technical process linked to the track, signal, and control systems. During this time, some trains have been completely cancelled, while others are taking different routes. Shashi Kiran, the Chief Public Relations Officer of the North Western Railway, mentioned that this decision came after careful technical planning and safety evaluations.
Continuing regular operations while changes are made to the track and signal systems can be dangerous. To prevent any accidents, the Railways has temporarily controlled train movements. Passengers are encouraged to check the live status of their trains before they leave.
