Along with this, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also transferred the amount of gas subsidy (Ladli Behna Yojana subsidy) worth Rs 46.34 crore to the accounts of more than 30 lakh sisters from Nalwa village in Ujjain. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 340 crore has also been sent to the accounts of 56 lakh 74 thousand social security pension beneficiaries .

Who gets the benefit of Ujjwala Yojana?

Under this scheme, only women can avail the benefit of free gas cylinder and that too those women who are living below the poverty line. For this, women should have a BPL card. Women holding BPL cards can apply for this scheme. It is worth noting that the age of the applicant woman should be more than 18 years. Also, her bank account should also be linked to the Aadhaar card.
