There are rumors that the installment amount could be raised from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000. However, this isn’t the first time such discussions have occurred, and in the past, the installment amount has remained unchanged. When can we expect the 23rd installment?
So far, a total of 22 installments of the PM Kisan Yojana have been disbursed.
The 22nd installment was released on March 13, benefiting around 9.32 crore eligible farmers. Now, attention turns to the 23rd installment. Each installment of this scheme is typically released every four months. Following the 22nd installment, the four-month period for the 23rd installment will conclude in June. Thus, it is anticipated that the 23rd installment may be issued in late June or early July. However, we are still waiting for official confirmation.
Who is eligible to apply?
This scheme provides eligible farmers with financial aid of Rs 6,000 each year. Farmers who are not yet listed as beneficiaries can submit an application. Applications can be completed both online and offline.
