PM Kisan 22nd Installment: As the assembly elections in five states approach, the central government has chosen to deposit more than Rs 18,640 crore into the accounts of 93.2 million farmers nationwide. This sum will be distributed as the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to announce this installment on Friday, March 13, 2026, at approximately 5 pm from Guwahati, located in the election-focused state of Assam.
Under this initiative, qualifying farmer families receive financial support of Rs 6,000 each year, divided into three equal payments. Shivraj Singh Chouhan mentioned that over 2.15 crore women farmers will benefit from this financial aid in the 22nd installment. He emphasized that this support enables farmers to acquire vital supplies such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.

How to check the status of PM Kisan 22nd installment?
To check your account, follow these steps:
– First, visit the official PM Kisan website
https://pmkisan.gov.in/
– Look for the ‘Farmers Corner’ option on the right side
– Click on ‘Know your Status’. A new page will appear.
– On this new page, you can verify through your Aadhaar number whether the funds have been credited to your account or not.
While announcing the release date, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan remarked that this action reflects the central government’s steadfast dedication to farmers. He noted that with the release of the 22nd installment, the total amount disbursed will exceed the remarkable figure of Rs 4.27 lakh crore. The minister also highlighted that since 2019, over Rs 4.09 lakh crore has been directly transferred to the accounts of eligible farmer families.

First, go to the PM Kisan portal pmkisan.gov.in.
Now click on Know Your Status.
If you do not know your registration number, click on Know Your Registration No.
Now you can choose either the mobile number or Aadhar number option.
Enter your Aadhar or mobile number and fill in the captcha code.
An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile, enter it, and you will get your registration number.
