PM Awas Yojana:- Even today, many people in the country live in kutcha houses. In such a situation, the Modi government has started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the poor people. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance to the economically weaker people in the country to build houses.

With the help of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, lakhs of people can build their own houses. The Government of India started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in 2015. If you take a loan to build a house under this scheme, you get a subsidy.

The government has started the scheme’s second phase to provide affordable housing to poor and middle-class families. Under this scheme, more than one crore urban families will be given financial assistance to offer, buy or rent housing in the next five years. The central government will assist Rs 2.30 lakh crore in the first session.

In the first phase, the target was set for 1.18 crore houses. Out of these, 85.5 lakh houses have been built and given to the eligible beneficiaries. The main objective of the PM Housing Scheme is to provide houses with all the facilities to the eligible beneficiaries in urban areas.

Important things PM Housing Scheme

New houses will be constructed in the 2.0 phase of the Center’s PM Housing Scheme. A subsidy of Rs 2.30 lakh will also be provided for each home. Work has been done to include many points in the scheme. It will also include Beneficiary-Led Construction (BLC), Affordable Rental Housing and Interest Waiver Scheme. If you fulfil all the conditions, you can apply for a house. After applying, your papers will be verified.

How to apply for Scheme Phase 2.0?

To do this, you must first visit the official website, may-urban.gov.in.

After this, click on the homepage to apply for the PMAY-U2.0 option.

Read all the guidelines carefully.

Write the income and other information per year. You have to do your verification.

Then, the Aadhar card information has to be verified.

Address, proof of income,f and other necessary information must be filled out in the application.

After this, please read the form carefully before submitting it. The application status can also be found on the portal. Applicants are advised to apply and check the status of their applications on the portal regularly.

These documents are necessary.

Some geometry documents to apply for are an Aadanr card, an active Aadhaar-linked bank account on my certificate, and land or house owner ownership.
