PF Nominee Name Add- If you are an EPF member, then this news may be useful for you. Because Employee Provident Fund (EPF) account holders must appoint a nominee. If something untoward happens to you, then the nominee can easily get this fund at that time.

If you have not added a nominee in your EPF account yet, then do it immediately. Today, through this news, we are going to tell you how you can add a nominee online from home. Let us tell you, there can be more than one nominee. If there is more than one nominee, more nomination details have to be given and information has to be given about how much amount each nominee will get.

First of all, go to EPFO’s website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/. Enter your UAN and password and click on the ‘Sign In’ button. Go to the ‘Manage’ tab. After logging in, click on ‘Manage’ in the menu given above. After this click on ‘E-Nomination’.

The system will show your existing details like name, date of birth, etc. Make sure these details are correct. Add family details. Now click on ‘Add Family Details’ and fill in nominee’s name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, relationship, etc. Then set the share (%).

If you have added more than one nominee, then you have to decide who will get what percentage of the benefit. The total should be 100%. Complete the e-sign process. Now click on ‘Save EPF Nomination’ and then ‘e-Sign’. This is Aadhaar based verification, in which OTP comes on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar. The e-nomination process is completed as soon as the OTP is entered.
