The government has launched a portal where you can register any complaint related to your PF account. You can also send a reminder if needed. Let’s understand the complete process and learn how you can solve any problem related to your PF account.

What is EPFiGMS?

EPFiGMS stands for Employees’ Provident Fund Grievance Management System. It is an online government portal created to solve PF-related problems. Whether there is a delay in your PF transfer, your claim is stuck, there is wrong information in your account, or you are not getting any response from the PF office — you can solve these issues quickly through this portal.

The special feature of this portal is that you can also upload the required documents along with your complaint. This helps in getting a faster solution. If your complaint is taking time to resolve, you can send a reminder so that action is taken sooner.

How to File a Complaint?

Step 1: Search EPFiGMS on Google.
Step 2: Click on the official link and select Register Grievance.
Step 3: Select your status (for example, PF Member).
Step 4: If the complaint is related to a claim, enter the Claim ID and details. If not, select “NO” for Claim ID.
Step 5: Enter your UAN number, fill the captcha, and click Get Details. You will receive an OTP on your phone and email. Enter the OTP to continue.
Step 6: Fill in your basic details, such as address.
Step 7: Select your PF number and describe your complaint clearly. Attach the necessary documents.
Step 8: Submit your complaint.

Two Special Features

This portal has two very useful features:

  • You can send a reminder every 7 days after filing a complaint to speed up the process.
  • If you are not satisfied with the solution, you can submit your feedback on the portal.

Things to Remember

  • Always attach all original documents related to your complaint. This helps in solving the issue faster.
  • Keep your complaint number safe so that you can check the status later.
