Under the PAN 2.0 project, more improvements are to be made in the QR code.

The existing PAN cards are going to be valid under PAN 2.0. The most important thing is that the existing PAN cardholders will not need to get a new PAN card. Meanwhile, the government said that PAN cards with QR codes have been issued since the year 2017. That means 8 years have passed.
