New Aadhaar App: UIDAI has launched the full version of the New Aadhaar App on January 28, further strengthening the country’s digital identity system. With the arrival of this new app, the role of the old mAadhaar app has become largely obsolete. UIDAI aims to make Aadhaar-related services completely digital, secure, and user-friendly, so that people no longer need to carry photocopies of documents or physical cards with them.

Digital Aadhaar Eliminates the Need for Physical Cards

The biggest advantage of the New Aadhaar App is that you no longer need to carry your Aadhaar card in your pocket or wallet. The app securely stores all Aadhaar-related information in a digital format. Simply showing your mobile phone will be sufficient to prove your identity at banks, hotels, airports, or government offices. This will significantly reduce the risk of losing, damaging, or misplacing your Aadhaar card.

Easy Identity Verification with Face Authentication

The new app supports face authentication, making it more advanced than before. You no longer need to wait for an OTP every time. Users can now verify their identity using their face. This feature will be especially helpful for the elderly, children, and those who face network or OTP-related issues.

Instant and Secure Verification with QR Code

The New Aadhaar App also includes a QR code-based verification feature. Now, you won’t need to provide photocopies of your Aadhaar card to anyone. The other person can simply scan the QR code to verify your identity. This will not only save time but also effectively prevent data tampering and the use of fake Aadhaar cards.
