The third major update has rolled out, giving the Government of India’s digital payment app, BHIM, a fresh look. BHIM 3.0 has been crafted with the everyday user, business owners, and banks in mind. This new version introduces several features designed to make your daily transactions smoother, smarter, and more secure.
Here are some key features of BHIM 3.0:
1. Bill Sharing:
Sharing expenses with friends or family is now a breeze. Whether it’s rent, a restaurant bill, or group shopping, you can easily split payments using the ‘Split Payment’ feature in BHIM 3.0. This enhances both transparency and convenience in managing finances.
2. Spend Analytics:
Users can now get a comprehensive overview of their monthly spending right within the BHIM app. The new Spend Analytics feature categorizes expenses automatically, making budgeting and saving simpler than ever.
3. Family Mode:
The new Family Mode in BHIM allows you to add family members to a single app. This feature helps you monitor their expenses and manage necessary payments, making collective financial planning for the family much easier.
4. Reminder Alerts:

Introducing BHIM Vega for Traders
To better serve merchants, the BHIM app has rolled out a new feature called ‘BHIM Vega.’ This allows merchants to accept payments directly within the app, streamlining the process and eliminating the need for customers to switch to different apps, which speeds up transactions.
