Government benefited
The government has benefited a lot from this. Taxes like direct tax, i.e. income tax and corporate tax are taken directly from the taxpayers. The government implements development schemes for the people with this money.
People of the country paid tax
The Finance Ministry says that the reasons for the increase in tax collection include the increase in the number of people paying taxes, excellent digital system and prevention of tax evasion etc. Experts say that the people of the country are becoming more aware to pay taxes.
At the same time, the government believes that tax calculation will increase more in the coming financial year. Due to this, we will be able to invest in education, health and development schemes. This shows that not only will the revenue increase, but there are also indications that the Indian tax system is improving.
