Big news for common people. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta made a significant announcement during the budget presentation in the Delhi Assembly on March 25, 2025, where she unveiled a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore. A key highlight of this budget was the enhancement of the Ayushman scheme. CM Gupta revealed that beneficiaries of the Jan Arogya Yojana will now receive comprehensive health insurance coverage of Rs 10 lakh.
Previously, the central government provided health insurance of Rs 5 lakh under this scheme, but the Delhi government will now contribute an additional Rs 5 lakh.
