During the announcement, Kejriwal expressed, “Priests worship God and have been the guardians of our traditions and customs for generations. We have often overlooked their contributions. With this scheme, I want to honor them, and I’m announcing that once the Aam Aadmi Party is in power, priests will receive an honorarium of about 18,000 rupees monthly.”

If the Aam Aadmi Party secures victory, priests from temples and Gurdwara Sahib in Delhi will benefit from this monthly honorarium of ₹ 18,000. This initiative acknowledges their vital role in society and their dedication to maintaining our cultural heritage.

Registration started from 31st December

Starting tomorrow, registration for this scheme will open. “Registration will begin on December 31. I will kick off the registration process at Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place, and from there, all MLAs and party workers will assist in registering priests across all temples and gurdwaras in Delhi,” he added.
