Government to Give ₹10 Lakh for Inter-caste Marriages, Know the Conditions

Inter-Caste Marriage Scheme

Inter-Caste Marriage Scheme: Although society has achieved many milestones in education, technology, and development, the mindset regarding marriage has not undergone a complete change. When two adults decide to get married, families and society still primarily consider caste and social status. In many areas, inter-caste marriages are still not accepted, due to which couples in love face serious social pressure.

In this context, the Rajasthan government has launched a special scheme to change this social mindset and reduce caste-based discrimination. Under this scheme, couples who have inter-caste marriages are given financial assistance so that they can start their new life without fear and insecurity.

A step towards social change

This effort by the Rajasthan government is not limited to just financial assistance, but it also sends a strong message towards changing the mindset of society. By respecting and supporting intercaste marriages, the government is promoting equality and social justice.
