Government Update: The accountability of employees working under the Uttar Pradesh state government has been increased. Now, all state employees will be required to provide information about their movable and immovable assets on the online Human Resource Portal. This system will include more than 800,000 state employees. This new rule will require state government employees to provide information about their assets, and failing to do so could result in their January salary being withheld.

This work must be done by this date

Employees must complete this task by January 31, 2026. The Chief Secretary has clarified that all officers and employees must provide details regarding their assets. Action may be taken against those who violate this order. Their January salary may be withheld in February, and they may not even be considered for promotion at the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting scheduled for February 1, 2026.
