This scholarship is part of the State Bank of India Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). The primary goal of this scholarship is to remove financial barriers and help students access opportunities in top global institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this scholarship, the following conditions must be met:
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
- The applicant must have secured admission to a Master’s degree or higher course abroad and possess an offer letter.
- The applicant must have at least 75% marks in the previous academic year.
- The annual family income should be within ₹6 lakh. Priority will be given to students with a family income below ₹3 lakh.
- The university must be ranked among the top in the QS World University Rankings or Times Higher Education Rankings.
Benefits of the Scholarship
Selected students will receive financial assistance of up to ₹20 lakh per year, covering:
- 50% of the course fee.
