Gold Rate Fall: Gold and silver prices have been fluctuating for quite some time. Gold rates have sometimes seen rapid increases and sometimes steep declines. On Thursday, February 12th, the fourth trading day of the week, silver prices fell again, while gold prices also declined. Gold and silver prices on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) are seeing another decline today. After yesterday’s sharp rise, gold has fallen to ₹1,57,860 per 10 grams. Silver’s price has fallen today to ₹2,60,685 per kg.

After reaching lifetime highs on January 29th, gold and silver prices have begun to fall again, offering some relief to the general public. The wedding season is currently underway in India, with most gold jewellery purchased for weddings. Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate. However, compared to its all-time high, silver is still trading around ₹1.59 lakh lower. Gold is currently trading at up to ₹35,395 below its all-time high.

Gold Rate Decline
Gold prices fell in the commodity market on Thursday. Gold prices fell by more than ₹1,000 today. On Wednesday, the 24-karat gold price with an expiry date of April 2nd closed at ₹1,58,755 per 10 grams, and it fell to ₹1,57,701 per 10 grams at the opening. This means gold is ₹1,054 cheaper per 10 grams today compared to yesterday.

How much has gold fallen from its high?
The price of gold reached its record high on January 29th. The price reached ₹1,93,096 per tola, after which the price began to decline. Compared to the MCX High Gold Rate, it is currently trading at ₹35,395 below its high price.
