Gold Price: An upward trend has been observed in gold prices today, May 14. Gold and silver prices have been surging recently. The price of 24-carat gold has risen by ₹372, reaching ₹1.61 lakh. Meanwhile, the price of 1 kg of silver has declined by ₹370 today, settling at ₹2.87 lakh.

According to a report by the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the rate for 24-carat gold with 999 purity has reached ₹161,349 per 10 grams. Compared to yesterday, gold prices rose by ₹372 today, Thursday. Gold prices have seen a surge for the second consecutive day today, driven by an increase in import duties. On May 5, the rate for 24-carat gold in the bullion market was recorded at ₹147,973 per 10 grams.
