AI Impact Summit 2026: New Delhi has implemented a stringent and high-tech security system in anticipation of the AI Impact Summit 2026. A multi-layered security system has been developed in the capital for this five-day international event. The event is being held at the Bharat Mandapam, where senior delegates from several countries and heads of major AI companies are attending. Security agencies have implemented a comprehensive security plan, including advanced technology and a large police presence.

Security has been heightened both on the ground and in the air for the summit. Specialized air defense equipment has been deployed to monitor the airspace. Additionally, an anti-drone system has been activated to monitor drone activity, capable of identifying, tracking, and, if necessary, neutralizing suspicious drones. Delhi Police has deployed a large number of security personnel in the Bharat Mandapam and surrounding areas.

High-tech surveillance across the city

More than 500 CCTV cameras have been installed throughout the area, utilizing advanced video analytics technology. These cameras feature face recognition, automatic number plate recognition, and intrusion detection capabilities. These systems can instantly identify suspicious individuals or vehicles.

24-Hour Monitoring from a Special Control Room

A special control room has been set up for live monitoring. CCTV footage is being continuously monitored from here. Quick response teams will be alerted as soon as any suspicious activity is detected. In addition, anti-sabotage teams and bomb detection squads are regularly checking the venue and surrounding areas.

Special preparations for emergencies

Several NDRF teams are deployed on site to deal with any emergency, while additional teams are on standby. Approximately 5,000 traffic police personnel have been deployed to maintain smooth traffic flow. Additional patrol vehicles, wireless sets, and warning light bars have been deployed to address traffic jams.

Increased Surveillance in Sensitive Areas
