Silver Price Down – Rate Crash ₹2,949 Today, Check 18K, 22K and 24K Gold Rates With GST

Gold Rate 16 Feb.: Despite the decline on MCX, gold prices rose in the bullion markets today. However, silver prices declined on February 16. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of one kilogram of silver fell by ₹2,949 to open at ₹2,39,484 per kilogram. Earlier on Friday, the price of silver was ₹2,42,433 per kilogram. Looking at the gold rate, the price of 24-carat gold rose by ₹1,315 to reach ₹154,080 per 10 grams. Including GST, gold reached ₹158,702 today. Platinum opened at ₹63,669, down ₹434.
Bite Traders reported that on Friday, gold of 999 purity closed at ₹152,765 per 10 grams without GST. These rates were released by IBJA. This rate is currently at 12 noon.
What is the latest gold price today?
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), 23-carat gold has risen by ₹1,310 to ₹153,463 per 10 grams. Its price with GST is now ₹158,066 per tola. 22-carat gold has also risen by ₹1,205 to ₹141,137 per 10 grams. With GST, it remains at ₹145,371. 18-carat gold has also jumped by ₹986, opening at ₹115,560 per 10 grams. Its price with GST is ₹119,026 per 10 grams. Finally, the price of 14-carat gold opened at Rs 90,137, after rising by Rs 769. Including GST, it reached Rs 92,841 per 10 grams.
The gold rates released by IBJA do not include 3% GST, making charges, and the jeweller’s margin. Therefore, city-wise rates vary. The RBI uses these rates to determine the rates of Sovereign Gold Bonds.
How to identify silver?
Magnet test: Real silver does not stick to a magnet.

Smell test: Real silver has no smell. Fake silver may have a copper-like smell.
