For senior citizens, there is a demand to increase this deduction limit from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh per year.
What announcements for farmers?
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers currently receive ₹6,000 annually. Farmers hope this limit will be increased. It is being speculated that the amount should be doubled to ₹12,000.
