₹1,250 Monthly Aid and Cheaper Gas Cylinders! This State Government Boosts Benefits for Women

Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme Update: To make women self-reliant, various schemes are being implemented in different states to help them. Through which financial assistance is provided on a monthly basis. In Bengal, this scheme is called Lakshmi Bhandar Bhata. Which is received by women between the ages of 25 and 60. Every month, women from the general caste get Rs 1000. Women from the scheduled caste get Rs 1200.

However, from now on, the government has brought a special surprise to help women and economically weak families. From now on, women will get Rs 1250 per month. Similarly, they will get cheap gas cylinders. The state government has recently increased the benefits of this scheme for women. The project is called Orunodoi.

The third phase of the Orunodoi project has been launched. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma officially implemented this project across Assam in Tinsukia. Assam’s Digboy MLA Suren Phukan participated in the virtualization of the inauguration of this project launched centrally by the Chief Minister.

Under Orunodoi 3.0, a total of 20,755 families in Digboi constituency will receive monthly financial and material assistance. The scheme will provide Rs 1,250 per month to eligible women, including widows, unmarried women, sick women, single mothers and women from economically weaker sections.

From November, beneficiaries will also get subsidised salt, sugar and pulses, in line with an earlier request by the Assam Legislative Assembly to make essential commodities more affordable for low-income families.
