PM Kisan 21st Installment – Common Reasons Why Payment Gets Delayed

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a big relief scheme for farmers in India. Crores of farmers are benefiting from this plan. The government provides financial help of Rs 6,000 annually to eligible farmers. This amount is given in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. So far, 20 installments have been released, with the latest one issued on 4 August. Now farmers are eagerly waiting for the 21st installment.

Annual Support for Farmers

Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, small and marginal farmers get direct financial assistance. The money is directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account. This helps them manage farming costs and household needs. Farmers receive the amount in three parts – one installment every four months. The scheme aims to improve the financial condition of farmers who struggle to earn enough through farming.

Checking Your 21st Installment Status

If you want to know whether your 21st installment will come, you can check it online. Visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in and go to Farmers Corner. Select Beneficiary Status. Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or registration number, then click on Get Data. The website will display the status of your previous installment and update for the upcoming one.

What the Status Means

If the status shows “FTO Generated” or “Payment Sent,” it means your installment is approved and will reach your account soon. If the status says “Pending” or “Rejected,” the amount will not be credited. In such cases, farmers should immediately take corrective steps to ensure future payments are not delayed.

Common Reasons for Payment Issues

Sometimes, PM Kisan installment gets stuck. The main reason is incomplete e-KYC. Many farmers have not linked their Aadhaar with their bank accounts. Others face issues due to wrong bank details or mismatch in names. Outdated land records on the state portal can also stop the payment.

Document and Registration Problems

Duplicate registrations or wrong document uploads are other reasons for installment rejection. Farmers must ensure that all their details are accurate and up to date. If there is any issue, they should approach the nearest Common Service Center or Agriculture Department office to get it fixed immediately.

Importance of e-KYC

For smooth payment, e-KYC is mandatory. Without e-KYC, the installment will not be credited. Farmers should complete this process before the installment release date. The e-KYC can be done online or by visiting the Common Service Center. Timely completion will avoid payment delays.

Next Steps for Farmers

If you find your payment status as Pending or Rejected, act quickly. Update your bank account details, link Aadhaar, and ensure land records are correct. This will help you receive your 21st installment without any problem. Farmers are advised to check their status regularly on the PM Kisan portal.
