TVS Apache RR 450 – Whenever the name “Apache RR” is heard in the Indian bike market, the heartbeat becomes slightly faster. Now a new full-fledged test bike is spotted on the streets of India, and almost every sign is saying that it could be the TVS Apache RR 450. Twin-cylinder engines, BMW-connected technology and aggressive design are all pointing to a new middleweight sportbike chapter.
Apache RR 450
The partnership of TVS and BMW has already worked on the 310cc platform. History witnesses that TVS Apache RR 310 came first and then BMW G 310 RR was launched. Given the same pattern, it seems more likely that this new bike is the next RR offering of TVS, not the new sport model of BMW.
Design
Talking about design, large winglets are seen watching carefully, which seems inspired by the litter-class superbike. This means that TVS is seriously working on high-speed stability and aerodynamics.

The Tangent RR Concept shown in the 2025 EICMA may also provide several design clues. Sharp body panels, sporty tail sections and indicator-integrated brake lights all indicate that it can be an all-rounder sportbike, not just a track machine.
Interestingly, Panier mounts are seen in the test mule. That is, TVS probably does not want to limit it to just race-tracks, but can offer it as a touring-friendly performance bike.
Engine & Performance
Talking about the engine, it is expected to have a 420cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which can generate around 48 PS power and 43.5 Nm torque.
This upgrade takes TVS beyond 310cc and stands directly in the middleweight segment. TVS can give it a more sporty character by slightly changing engine tuning.
If the power delivery was smooth and responsive, this bike could prove suitable for both weekend rides and track days.
Suspension & Hardware
The spotted bike saw adjustable front suspension. This indicates that TVS is not compromising in terms of performance hardware.

There is a possibility that adjustable clip-on handlebars are also given, as seen in the KTM RC 390. This feature gives the rider a balance between comfort and aggressive riding positions.
BMW-badged brakes have already increased its premium appeal. In such a situation, the Apache RR 450 package looks quite competitive in the middleweight segment.
Launch Timeline & Price
Let me tell you that the TVS Apache RR 450 will be showcased at the 2026 EICMA show and the launch in India may be soon thereafter.
The price is likely to be around ₹4.20 lakhs (ex-showroom). At this price, it will directly compete with bikes like the Aprilia RS 457, which can lead to a tremendous bump in the Indian middleweight sportbike segment.
