Tata Sierra is going to launch this time with an even more practical five-door format, keeping its iconic identity. Full-width LED strip on the front gives it a modern and premium look, while dual-tone bumper and flush door handles make it even more stylish. The connected LED tail-light behind it gives it a bold road presence, which is immediately realized by looking at it that this SUV is fully ready for return.

Talking about its interior, the cabin of Sierra feels like a futuristic lounge. It has a setup of three 12.3-inch screens with one for screen driver, the other for infotainment and the third for front passenger. The same makes its rotary gear selector, electronic parking brake and wireless charging pad make it even more upmarket.

Expected features include panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, multiple drive modes, dual-zone climate control and wireless smartphone connection. Overall, the interior of Sierra gives complete vibes of a premium SUV.

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Now talk about its engine, Tata Sierra will be offered with three types of powertrain — petrol, diesel and later EV option. It can first be found in the new 1.5L TGDI turbo-petrol engine, which is expected to make around 167.6 bhp and 280 Nm torque. It can be offered in both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT.

The second option is 1.5L diesel engine, which will produce around 116 bhp and 260 Nm. It can also be made available in both manual and DCT gearboxes.Electric version is also in the plan, which will be introduced shortly after launch. This variant of Sierra will be a special attraction for EV lovers.

𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀

You may know that Tata is famous for its safety, and Sierra can also become a strong example of this. This SUV can see 6 airbags, ESC, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors and 360-degree camera. The same Teaser also shows a hint of lane departure warning, making it clear that it may contain Level 2 ADAS features.

Tata Sierra will be launched in compact SUV segment, where it will be directly contested by SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Tata Curvv, Honda Elevate and VW Taigun.

The same Tata can present it with aggressive pricing strategy, where its expected starting price is likely to be close ₹11 lakh ex-showroom.
