MG Astor: MG Astor has gradually grown pricier in the Indian market, with prices going up by as much as ₹19,000 across all models. This happens on the back of the fact that the turbo-petrol engine was dropped a few months ago. The car is currently being sold with only a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with an option between a manual and a CVT transmission. Even after the price increase, MG has left the variant list and the feature set unchanged, making the Astor competitive in the mid-size SUV segment.

Updated Prices and Variants

Every variant of the MG Astor has recorded a varying price hike. The base variant Sprint MT now costs ₹11.48 lakh, an increase of ₹18,000. The Shine MT has registered the maximum increase of ₹19,000 and is now priced at ₹12.67 lakh. The Select MT is at ₹14 lakh, an increase of ₹18,000, while the Sharp Pro MT is now ₹13,000 pricier at ₹15.34 lakh.

Automatic variants, on the other hand, see Select CVT going up to ₹15 lakh from a ₹15,000 increase. Sharp Pro CVT too has gone up by ₹15,000 to a price of ₹16.64 lakh. Top-of-the-line Savvy Pro CVT is now ₹17.63 lakh after a ₹17,000 increase.

Feature Highlights

MG Astor still gets a broad range of comfort and tech features. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with analog dials and a 7-inch digital driver display. Ventilated front seats, 6-way power driver seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and panoramic sunroof make the experience more premium. The vehicle also receives rear AC vents, auto air conditioning, auto-dimming IRVM, and an air purifier. A 6-speaker sound system is also available as part of the package.
