Top Selling 7-Seater Cars in India: The 7-seater segment in the Indian market has registered a remarkable growth of 23 percent. A total of 42,482 vehicles were sold in February 2026, with the Maruti Ertiga leading the pack with 17,807 units sold. While the Toyota Innova and Kia Carens maintained their strong hold, the Maruti Invicto lagged behind. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

The Ertiga features a successful 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 103 PS of power and 137 Nm of torque. It also boasts impressive safety features like a 7-inch touchscreen, auto AC, cruise control, and six airbags (top variant). Toyota Innova & Kia Carens

The Rumion is a successful choice for those who want the robust reliability of Toyota and the versatile utility of the Ertiga.

Triber and Invicto

Outside the top 5, the Renault Triber successfully sold 2,419 units. In the luxury segment, the Toyota Vellfire sold 145 units, while Maruti’s most luxurious car, the Invicto, ranked at the bottom of the list with just 143 units. Clearly, Indian customers continue to prioritize affordable and robust family cars.
